The American Legion learned at its Washington Conference Monday that the Department of Defense may have to suspend its overseas efforts to recover the remains of servicemembers who died in combat or as prisoners of war.

Dixie Wing Hosts 10th Annual “WWII Heritage Days”
Experience the sights and sounds of the Greatest Generation when the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing hosts the tenth annual “WWII Heritage Days” April 27-28, 2013. The history festival will be held at The Historical Airpower Facility, Atlanta Regional Airport-Falcon Field, Peachtree City from 9am-4pm both days.

Volunteer Opportunity- IHOP National Pancake Day
On February 5, 2013, IHOP is partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in celebration of IHOP’s National Pancake Day. This event will mark the eighth year that IHOP has celebrated National Pancake Day, during which IHOP is hoping to raise $3 million on February 5. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is also celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year.
