A Message from Detachment Commander

December 1, 2009

To all Squadron's;

Our National Commander Mark Arneson at the National Convention put forth a challenge to all Detachments.
His challenge is this:
"The Triple Nickel" To earn this award each Detachment must do three things.
1) achieve 105% membership
2) start 5 new squadrons
3) attain 85% renewal rate.

We are moving in this direction with the sprite that Georgia
works all of it's programs.
As of November 24 we currently have 4 new squadron, only need one or two more.

Membership wise we are holding at 66.08% for the year. This is great. The small problem is out of the 3347 members turned in; plus or minus 594 are new members. This brings our renewal rate down to 54%. We need 1571 more to make our 85% needed for the "Triple Nickel" program.
Please. Please don't get me wrong and stop bringing in new members. We need all we can get. We just need to look at our rosters and contact those that haven't paid their dues to bring in these members along with all those new ones. The Detachment of Georgia will reach a all time high, growth we have never seen.
To be 100% membership renewal, we need to add another 600 +.

This calendar year of 2009 is almost over. Before we know it, it will be May then June.
Let's show the nation that we are the best and a force to be dealt with.

For God and Country,
Tom Chebro
