Please Read - PNC Arneson's Mother

Below is a statement from Past National Commander Mark E. Arneson concerning the impending passing on his beloved mother:
Momma's are a gift given to us by God to show us love and compassion and grace and dignity. I believe I was blessed with one of the best. Today, the Arneson family has carried out our Momma's wish to not be kept alive by artificial means. She has battled Alzheimer's for the last seven years. On Friday, she was taken to Dekalb Medical for pneumonia. It was determined that her autoimmune system was fully compromised and she was septic. My sister flew in from England this afternoon. When she arrives at the hospital, the nurse will begin removing the drugs that has stabilized her blood pressure. Momma is very peaceful and our Pastor came by this afternoon and administered last rites. It was quite beautiful as he prayed for a safe journey of her soul to Heaven and blessed her for her faithful service here on Earth. We ask that all pray for her as her Spirit travels to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While we are deeply saddened with her impending passing, we rejoice that her suffering has come to an end and she will be whole once again in Heaven.
